The Terraces at Bonita Springs – Driver

The Terraces at Bonita Springs – Driver is responsible for the safe and secure transportation for residents on and off campus to and from designated destinations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Transport residents in company vehicle/bus around campus and off campus to and from designated destinations.
  • Adhere to weekly schedule for keeping vehicles clean and maintained; cleaning done by driver.
  • Obey all traffic laws, and report any violations to management immediately.
  • Provide prompt service to adhere to all scheduled events.
  • Assist residents with carry-on items, embarking and disembarking, and storage of walkers and wheelchairs.
  • Attend departmental education and all required in-service training/education.
  • Respond to all fire alarms and assist in the evacuation of residents when needed.
  • Provide quality customer service in all interactions with residents, guests and staff

Other duties may be required and assigned.

Educational Requirements and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • CPR & first aid certification preferred
  • Valid Florida Commercial Driving License: Class “C” or higher and passenger endorsement
  • Safe driving record and insurable under the company automobile insurance policy

The Terraces at Bonita Springs – Valet

The Terraces at Bonita Springs – Valet is responsible for interacting in a courteous and friendly manner with guests, residents and staff. Assists residents with valet services, parking services and mail/package delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet each incoming resident at their vehicle, opening the door and offering a helping hand.
  • Assist residents with valet services including retrieval and parking of vehicles, loading and unloading of vehicles, and entry and exit of vehicles.
  • Conduct mail/package delivery.
  • Monitor the cleanliness of garages, Porte Cachere, property along US 41, and keypads.
  • Maintain battery life of vehicles during leave of absences, per request of resident.
  • Communicate by radio per the community communication policy.
  • Attend departmental education and all required in-service training/education.
  • Respond to all fire alarms and assist in the evacuation of residents when needed.

Other duties may be required and assigned.

Educational Requirements and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current valid driver’s license is required.
  • Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
