I just wanted to take a quick minute to express my gratitude with the City of Bonita’s entire building department. We did the build out for Hertz’s temporary HQ’s last year and from start to finish your staff was unbelievable to work with. The Team approach from all parties involved (Architect, The City, Hertz, & Envirostruct) created such a positive experience for everyone and the project was great success. Last week I submitted plans for the Herc HQ’s going in the Source Interlink building and I’m not sure if you’re aware of this but the plans were reviewed by your staff and ready for pick up the next day! That is truly unbelievable and unheard of in the industry. Top notch service and the willingness to go the extra mile will consistently keep Bonita Springs in a league of its own. We are proud to be a local builder here and always look forward to working with the City of Bonita.

Global Tech LED is taking this time to note and thank the Bonita Springs Estero Economic Council, as well as The City of Bonita Springs for all of their efforts facilitating our relocation to this wonderful City. The assistance we received in the closing, permitting, and construction process saved us precious time and resources. We are proud of being a member of this exemplary community for the past 15 months, and since such time, our company and staff has grown tremendously; we will continue our membership for the long term. The Bonita Springs Estero Economic Council has worked tirelessly to ensure that our needs were satisfied, and have even introduced us to neighboring businesses in the community, and we are confident, that as we grow even further, they will will be there for us into the future. We believe that the dedication and hard work of The Bonita Springs Estero Economic Council is the reason this community is thriving and will continue to do so.

The Bonita Springs Estero EDC was critical in connecting FMIT to area businesses who are in need of qualified and trained employees. As a result, Bonita and Estero based employers now have a direct link to our students and our industry-based occupational training programs. The Bonita Springs Estero EDC has been instrumental in assisting us in placing our students in the jobs that are critical to the economy in South Lee County.

Bob Gillette, Founder, American House Bonita Springs

Dear Christine, As I mentioned to you in your most recent board meeting, I had a most rewarding experience during the last four or five years of working with the Bonita Springs officials in the development of a three phase retirement community on Longfellow Rd and Three Oaks Parkway. Each segment that I experienced in the governmental process, starting with the zoning board, the city council and all of the administrative staff that worked through this process was, without a doubt and at every level, exemplary. Along the way there were issues and concerns that needed to be addressed as any development would have, but the attitude was always “how do we make it happen for you?” vs. “this can’t or shouldn’t be done”. Having been doing this for the last 30 years, I have been in similar situations in other communities in my career but nowhere did I ever find this level of cooperation and assistance. I remain very truly yours,

The Quality of Life in Southwest Florida, combined with the absence of a state income tax, make the area very appealing to the employees that we recruit and relocate here. Other key factors include our strong alliance with Florida Gulf Coast University and the proximity to Regional Southwest Airport (RSW), which allows for easy travel in and out of the area by our staff and corporate partners.
